Springfield Extravaganza

September 17th Jamie and I hit up the Springfield Extravaganza. So many beautiful things to look at.

Neither of us bought much…

Here ya go…

A decent 1 gallon crock for $10.00 to go on my new $2.99 crock stand from a previous Thrifty Thursday.





Three Primcats! Love them! And super inexpensive!! $12.00 for all three! Super deal!





And two tiny pieces of pottery. So cute! And only $5.00!



I don't know much about the whole tiny pottery thing... but I am told they are a hot collectable. I just thought they were cute! :)




I seriously can not believe that’s all I got! Crazy! And Jamie only bought one piece of Pfaltzgraff Folk Art. Slow shopping day in Extravaganza land for us!

We are heading to Christmas in October this weekend. Leave me a message if you go and we can meet up and say hello!!

~ Thrifty Thursday ~

Hi friends!

Here’s this weeks thrifty finds! Not as great as last weeks but still not bad!

A pumpkin! DUH!

.50 cents! The other side is an ugly light up jack o lantern… but since we will never turn it around… it’s perfect!



A wonderful candle warmer. I just love these! Way safer than burning. We can’t burn with all the primcats so this is the way to go!

A cute Warren Kimble recipe card/picture/tag holder.



Two beautiful wood small oval bowls.



( If ya'll are paying attention you will know that I used these to make Angie and Rachel some cute little birthday gifts! )

And a bag of sunflower bowl fillers.

You know I went shopping while at the Malabar show. If you missed this show you missed out! Don’t ever pass this one up again! It was primtastic!

So what did I get… Here you go…

My first hooked piece. And this was an amazing deal… marked down at the end of the day. About 1.5 x 2 foot or so. $25.00. I could not more pleased! YAY!



Another amazing deal. These are swan creek candles and run about $20 a piece at shops… if you buy them online they are even more because of shipping.  They were marked down to 8.95 each! DEAL!

Seriously… you didn’t think the Pumpkin Hoarder came home from a fall show without pumpkins!

Tuesday Display Chain ~ "Framed In"

The theme for Misi’s Display chain this week is “Framed In” and we were left to interpret it however we wished. I had a ton of clever, artsy ideas but in the end I decided to go with the literal interpretation and show you all the framed art in Primcats House. Not surprisingly 99% of it is of primcats.

Here we go…

My loose interpretation… Tracy "framed in" my camera lens. ;o)

Tell me she isn't the cutest thing you have ever seen? You can't. Because she is. :)
