Thrifty Thursday and Happy Birthday Holly

Hi Friends,

How’s things? Good I hope. Its been a rough week here at our house. Last Friday morning at 2 am I woke up with a terrible stomach bug. It was no good. I even called off work and I NEVER call off. I had no choice. I was so sick. By Saturday evening I was finally able to pull myself together and eat. I felt a little better after that. But this whole week has been tiring for me. Then Mr. Primcat got a cold, and gave it to me. Sigh. We have had it rough this last week. I hope we are on the upswing!

On to the more interesting stuff!

I have treasures to share with you today!

Check out this pretty little dresser I picked up a the GW. I think it’s just vintage. But it may be antique. Either way… I LOVE it! So precious!

 

Love the details! It’s missing a ring but I don’t mind!

I also picked up this adorable little apron that I enjoy wearing around the house when cooking and cleaning. I had forgotten how useful aprons really are!

And one more thing…

Today is Holly’s 5th birthday!

Happy Birthday to our baby girl. She is the best dog in the world. We just love her so very much! 

She loves hanging out in the cat enclosure and playing fetch. We have to keep the grass really short though or she gets lost! LOL! 

Being outside makes her happy!

Tonight there will be lots of treats to celebrate this little girls day and the wonderful gifts of love she brings to us every day!

Picked up this little Green cubby at Goodwill a while back for $2.99.

Decided to remove something from the bedroom and put this in place instead.

 

And if you have been following for a while you will remember this sign from a Thrifty Thursday a while back.

And here is the whole wall in the bedroom. That quilt was also from the gw. A steal at $7.99. They now mark ALL quilts, handmade, machine stitched or FAKE “printed” $19.99 from the get go. bummer. Never find quilt deals anymore.

Hi Friends…

Wow… it’s been a while since we have had one of these huh? Sorry… I haven’t been shopping much lately. Honestly…

I HAVE TO MUCH STUFF! LOL!

The more selective I have become in the certain pieces I am looking for the less I buy at the Goodwill. I really need to have a blog sale and clean out the ol’ prim room so I can buy more stuff!

Maybe I will put that on my Spring cleaning list:

So here is nice goodwill treasure I found back in January.

A pretty loveseat.

The kitties have inspected and decided $49.99 was a steal!

I placed it in the living room and of course covered it with a quilt. However, it is in great condition and it added an extra seat to the living room. Perfect find!

I have a gingerbread themed kitchen this year and these look great on my tree!

I collect Village but I had never seen them before so when I flipped them over I was pretty excited to see this.

Christmas is coming!

Hi Friends…

A little sneak peek at the first of the Primcats house decorating!

And of course… all those tree’s came from the Goodwill! $2.00 each! Yay!!!

The butter mold in the middle, my first, came from Simple Goods. And the brown Jug came from Black Cat Primitives. Thanks Carolyn!

The dining room is piled high with boxes upon boxes of Christmas and I’m really ready to turn this place in to a primitive winter wonderland!
