Simple Goods Show

Hi Friends,

Just a reminder that Simple Goods is tomorrow!

Jamie and I are going to brave the crowds and push our way in! That is certainly the one thing I HATE about this show. It’s WAY to crowded. Kind of makes it miserable. I hope the new space is better. But I’m doubtful. I kind of think the promoters “like” it to be all crushed and crowded.

Beautiful Pantry boxes

A long while back we had an arts and crafts fair in our town and tons of talented artists came to our town to sell there amazing wares.

Remember… One of those being Jan from Life on Buttermilk Hill who gifted me with that beautiful spoon she hand painted. You can see it here if you missed it…

Please send some prayers up for Jan, Al, Brian and their cat Stryker. Stryker is very very sick and in the hospital. He isn't doing well. Please Pray for him! Brian needs his boy!

Wow… Just WOW.

Can we say… WANT? YES!

STUNNING!

They are hand made by an amazing craftsman… and I just wanted to share so you all can drool with me. LOL!

~ Shopping at Gathered Treasures ~

Hi Friends! 

This post is terribly over due... terribly! I bought these treasures at last falls Gathered Treasures show... and found the draft as I was scheduling posts for while I am recovering from my PRK eye surgery. Yikes! Oh well! Better late than never!

So you have seen all of these in my decor but I never focused on them and I really do love them all. 

First up. this snowman pillow head. SO cute!

Waynesville Sauerkraut Festival

 

 

Neneerrrr, neeennnnneeeerrrrr, nenerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Look who I got to meet yesterday!

Cindy from Cynthia Lee Designs!!! As beautiful in real life as on her blog!

Her booth was so pretty and full of wonderful treasures!

I had asked her to save me back whatever the cutest mouse she made from her new batch and she did! And I couldn’t be more pleased! Look how wonderfully adorable!!

I’m so glad I asked her to save on back because she sold out of these on day one! No surprise! They are adorable!!!

Hello? Ever seen a cuter face? Um NO!

And being the sweetie she is she surprised me and added to my hoard of kitty’s and Pumpkins.

Check out my new shelf tuck! Kitty and pumpkin! Aaaaahhhhh. She knows me so well.

I added it to my entry way shelf. Pumpkin Purrfect! Thanks you so much for enabling my hoard Cindy!!! LOL! It was so great to meet you! I am sure we will meet again. :)

 

Mr. Primcats also found this sign and you know we had to have it! Tell me this isn’t the cutest!

And Mr. Primcat grabbed this for his shop. I love pin-up girls so I think this is a great sign!

That was out Sunday! It was a great day. We walked miles through wonderful booths and amazing Prim shops, that we couldn’t afford to shop in, but that’s not really a bad thing… saves us money. LOL!

We put about 200 miles on the Harley and sucked up what will probably be one of the last ridable days in Ohio until next year. I’m grateful I got to spend it with my wonderful husband Shane and our friends Jamie and Curt. And I got to meet a long time blogger friend Cindy and  Picture perfect Fall day!

Christmas in October ~ Findlay, Ohio

Sunday, October 2nd Jamie and I went to Christmas in October in Findlay, Ohio.This is one of our very favorite shows. Love it. Deals galore!

Got a ton of fun treasures…

A new sheep for my arrow hanger. $20.00 instead if $35! YAY!

This huge cat on a pumpkin for $11.00. Could not beat it. It’s like 2 feet tall.

Another Christmas tree. I needed this like a hole in the head. I’m going to have a tree in every room now for sure! But it was a deal… and you know I love a deal!

And here are my HUGE mums. I wait to buy these at Findlay every year. They are HUGE. Just HUGE. I bought two and Jamie got one. They filled the whole back of my Jeep. They are only $5.00 a piece there!!  Deals!

I also bought 3 pumpkins and about 20 small gourds for $10.00.
This is not a picture of them… this is a pic Mr. Primcat took of pumpkins in our neighbors patch. Very artsy.

I’ll show you the real gourds in the fall in the kitchen post that’s coming soon.
So that was last weekends excursion. Lots of deals.
Today Mr. Primcat, Jamie, Mr. “Soon to be” Jamie and I are are headed to Waynesville on the bikes for the Sauerkraut Festival. And to meet Cindy from Cynthia Lee Designs! Yay! I love meeting blogger friends!

Springfield Extravaganza

September 17th Jamie and I hit up the Springfield Extravaganza. So many beautiful things to look at.

Neither of us bought much…

Three Primcats! Love them! And super inexpensive!! $12.00 for all three! Super deal!





And two tiny pieces of pottery. So cute! And only $5.00!



I don't know much about the whole tiny pottery thing... but I am told they are a hot collectable. I just thought they were cute! :)




I seriously can not believe that’s all I got! Crazy! And Jamie only bought one piece of Pfaltzgraff Folk Art. Slow shopping day in Extravaganza land for us!
