Forget it Friday!

I get a giggle out of making up names that match the weekdays on my blog. My newest... these are things I passed up this week at the thrift store! Things I looked at and said… Forget it! LOL!

This is a HUGE painted piece of work. $100.00. Below it hangs and 8x11 frame so you can see how big it is. It is actually really neat. more country than prim but it’s nice. Would look really cool in a stairwell somewhere. I think it is $100.00.

95 piece set of Pfaltzgraff Village. $79.00 Really nice set at a really great price. But I don’t have anywhere to put all that! Neither does my bestie who collects this pattern like I collect Folk Art.

The wine glasses in the set. Really wish these were separate… Tammy NEEDS these.

Another piece of Pfaltzgraff. This is Yorktown It was a small vase. $2.00. Cute and I have some Yorktown but eh… forget it.

Cutest little pitcher ever. $2.50 I think. More than it’s worth in my thrifty world so I walked away.

Tiny little 1.5 inch bunny. $1.50!!! Are they mad????? YES!!! Forget that!

This is was a cute little crockish type thing too. Only about 1.5 to 2 inches tall. But it was $1.50. No thanks.

So theres my forget it's for the week!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Until next time...

A fun swap!

I’ve had my shoo-flys for sale for a while now… most of them sold but I have a few left over. Michelle over at Grannies Pantry posted that she really wanted one and I was excited when she asked if I wanted to swap! She’s been posting such wonderful, fun crafts lately how could I not?!

I got my box the other day and just look what she sent me!!!! Oh my gosh!!! Michelle you are the bestest ever!!!!! (You’re package of goodies should be to you before this is even posted! I hope I did you as right as you did me!) I told her just to send me whatever she wanted to… good move!

Take a look at all the wonderful spring treasures she sent me!

You saw a peek of this yesterday! I teased you with it. Did you know what it was and who made it?

Isn’t it amazing! I LOVE it!!!

It’s the new centerpiece of the table!
The primcats love it too! It's thier favorite new spot to sleep.

She made this penny mat special for me. I had asked if she made any cat items and lookie how wonderful this turned out! SO much talent Michelle! I adore this!

This found a home on the crock stack in the living room.

Treasures!

Nom Nom on some great carrots. I love these!

Promptly rearranged the cupboard top in the kitchen for the carrots and the adorable bunny head!

She also sent a pewter mug, a Pfaltzgraff Oil jug, a yummy candle with carrot and a cute little magnet.

They found homes here…

Look at these carrots! They are awesome. I hung them on the cupboard door. Forgot a pic. Sorry!

Huge! Love!

She also made me this kitty pillow. How cute!

Straight to the entryway!

The Easter eggs are hiding here.

I just want to say, Michelle, I love every single thing you sent. You are so talented! Thank you for sending me such a fun package I will treasure forever and ever. Smile

Thank you!!! I am so blessed to have been lucky enough to swap with you!

Until next time…

Thrifty Thursday…

Being a Queen of thrifting… I am sad to say I haven't been doing that well at the Goodwills lately. :(
I think donations are down… which leads them to mark the decent things they have UP to prices I refuse to pay. So really in the last few weeks I have only bought a few things.

Here they are:

A tiny buttocks basket for $0.50.

And a nice sized crate for $2.00

I really like what it says. I am not sure if I will leave it white. I think I will probably stain it with my trusty Olde English Stain. I don’t do white in my house. In fact I intentionally avoid it. So this will probably get primmed up.
