~ Shopping with Blogging friends ~
Happy Fat Tuesday Friends!
Big response to yesterdays post asking people to remove the word verification. I was surprised at how many didn’t even know they had it on there.
From now on… when I come to a blog with word verification I’m just going to ask the person if they knew it was on there and then link back to my post so they can see how to remove it. Hopefully seeing all those comments you all left will convince them to do so. :) Feel free to do the same. :)
This past Saturday was spent shopping with blogging friends! And we had so much fun! Old friends getting together. Earlene came to my house Saturday morning and had coffee with the Primcats and then we headed down south to meet up with Cindy and her sister Vicky at Primitive Blessings in Orient, Ohio.
Pam’s shop was my favorite of the day! So beautiful and springy! Garden inspirations everywhere. Plus her shop is just so fun to look through. Always something new to see! Everyone left with tons of goodies! If you haven’t seen Pam’s shop yet this Spring head to her blog and check out the pics! You will not be disappointed!

After we headed outside and took some pics at the creek beside the shop. So pretty!
Here’s Vicky, Cindy and Earlene.
And Here’s Vicky, Cindy and me.
Next we headed off to Bob evens for a serious gabfest and some food! Found out me, Cindy and Earlene are all on Weight Watchers which made for some interesting math at lunch trying to count points. lol!
Next we headed to North Shore Primitives. A stunning shop in Washington Court House, Ohio. This shop is filled with tons of Prim furniture that I drool over every time I go there. Maybe someday. :) I picked up a few small wares here and we headed to our last stop of the day.
The Olde Farmstead at Tanger Outlet mall. I didn’t pick up anything there but Cindy got an amazing treasure! You will have to wait until she posts tomorrow to see!
Then I dragged everyone down to the Pottery Barn because someone gave me a $50.00 gift card to there for Christmas. If you can even believe it I didn’t even find one thing to spend that card on.
From there it was time to part ways. Hugs all around until next time! You can bet there will be a next time too. Sooner rather than Later I am sure. We just had so much fun.
When there is a next time I will be sure to let you all know so if you want to join us you can! We would love to have you!
You can see more pictures at both Earlene and Cindy’s blogs so stop over and check them out too! Earlene took some pics of the Primcats too.
I will be back tomorrow to show you my treasures!
Until next time…

How to protect your tree from your cats and more Primitive Blessings
This is a repost of a post I did last year... but I"m bringing it back because clearly my cat loving friends need to hear about this because I'm reading to many stories about
Cat – 1
Human – 0
I sent many years being 0.
No more! I won!!!! Hope this helps you all too!

If you don’t want to end up with this…
You need one of these!!!!
We live with 14 cats… and I’ll be darned for years I could not win with the Christmas tree. The year we adopted the Katrina kittens, 2005, the tree ended up in a box! (Lovely Photo Above.) LOL. It was hysterical and will forever be a fantastically funny Christmas memory… but darn it… I love my Christmas trees and a few years ago I found the solution to keeping the cats out of the tree.
It’s called the Tattle Tale and it’s a little box that you can hang inside your tree like an ornament and it sends out a loud reprimanding tone if they shake the tree. It WORKS! A few times getting screeched at and they don’t touch the tree again!
Here is a link if you need one! Click the picture.

I also got another room posted on Pam’s blog for Primitive Blessings Vintage Gift Shop yesterday.
Here are a few sneak peeks… you can view the rest of the pictures here:

Head over and check them out.
Until Next time…

OLM Ornie Swap and more Primitive Blessings
It was another productive night at Primcats last night. Hubby helped me work on the Christmas tree display in in the living room. I am pretty impressed right now. It’s super prim… sorta drab… like nothing I have ever done before… but it looks really cool. I love it. And I can’t wait to share with you. But you are just going to have to wait as there is so much more to do and I don’t want to giveaway the best part first!
Speaking of Christmas… I joined my first ever blog ornie swap over at Marie’s blog http://primitivesbyoldeladymorgan.blogspot.com/
My box arrived yesterday and I could not be more thrilled. Wow! We have some seriously talented ladies out there!

Thank you Marie for hosting such a wonderful swap! And thank you to all the talented ladies who participated!
How about another room at Primitive Blessings… introduced by… KING! Pam’s baby and the shop mascot!
FYI… I am not really sure King is a dog. I’m pretty sure he’s a pony disguised as a dog. He’s HUGE! But adorable and lovable!
Until next time…
