Dehydrating oranges…

I FINALLY got around to dehydrating some oranges for my feather tree. Yeah yeah… I know… Christmas is over. I think I might… big MIGHT… keep it up with oranges on it for a while. Not sure. We will see how that turns out.

Its pretty easy. You just cut them up and stick them in the dehydrator and let it do it’s thing until they are dry.

When your all done you get this… a wonderful bowl of orange slices.

I just need to string them up and put them on the tree!

Until next time…

Hey you!
I still have my trees up too! Yep, I said trees... 10 ;)....My Christmas forest!
I love the glow. No pressures now, I can just enjoy them. Kind of like after christmas stress relief.
I burnt up my dehydrator this past fall. Ooops.
Looks like your having fun!

Those look great Carmen! I took my colored lights off my yr. round tree and put on clear lights, left my orange slices on it, and added some salt dough hearts for valentines! I will get it posted hopefully later today:)

I love the oranges/natural decorations. I want to dry sweet potatoes, too. Oh, and apple slices. I just used the oven. The house smelled awesome!

Can't wait to see them on the Feather Tree...are you going to leave on the cinnamon ornaments with the oranges..or just the oranges?? Have fun stringing and hanging them...Hugs ....Mom
