It is a miracle… that I even made it out of bed to work today after the great weekend I had! LOL!
Here is a quick recap…
Friday night… hung out with Mr. Primcat and my dad getting the Harleys ready for the big first season ride.
Watching the boys do very important things!
They changed oil… I couponed.
(Yes, I am a couponer, bordering on extreme, lol … always have been always will be! I easily save at least $25 a week just by clipping my Sunday paper coupons. More on that at a later date though!)
Saturday… up early with my friend Jamie and off to hit two of our favorite prim shops! North Shore Primitives and Primitive Blessings. Two must visit Ohio shops with to die for prims!
We shopped til we dropped and got some great new prims! Look for posts about both of these stores this week! :)
Saturday night… We grilled out and made dinner for friends. Had a wonderful evening! But ehn it was to bed early because…
Sunday… Met a bunch of friends to head out for the first great ride of the season! We headed to Mohican State park area and spent about 7 hours riding up there. It was a beautiful day! Sunny and 84. The wind was a little much with hard gusts of up to 30mph but we sucked it up and enjoyed the ride!
I’m a Harley girl at heart. Born and bred! I love the ride! ♥♥ Here’s a pic of our baby. She’s new. Got her last summer.
And here is a pic of her with our first Harley, a Road King. We had the Road king for 5 years but now…
My Dad just bought her from us… which makes me ESTATIC! I mean how cool does he look on this thing?!?!?!
Some snaps from our ride…
This is me and my bestie Tammy! Best friends for 32 years!
Mr Primcat and I getting ready to hit the road!
Dad saddling up in back!
Mohican area.
Rest stop.
Lunch time! Mmmmmm! Love Bobs!
Dad… giving his new bike a run for his money!
Such beautiful country.
It was a great day but by Sunday at 7pm when we pulled in the drive all I wanted was a shower and a bed. And I did just that. :)
Today I’m sun burnt and achy… but it was worth it. What a wonderful weekend!
Make sure you stop back later in the week to see my posts about North Shore Primitives and Primitive Blessings.
Until next time…

Oooh, I don't ride, but I do like the boys who do. Err, I should say that I like one boy in particular so I don't get in trouble. :) My hubs has had a few bikes, but I won't ride; too chicken! My FIL has a Harley but doesn't ride much. The pastor who married us (in his late 50s/early 60s at the time) took off on a Harley after the ceremony. He told hubs that motorcycles are for old men with grown children. I mention that every time hubs talks about getting another one. :)
Nothing like the sound of a Harley! ~*~Lisa
Looks like you had a blast!my mil has a heritage and my hubby has a ninja. He says hes gonna sell his and start riding his moms.she doesnt really even ride.I always wanted to learn but the hubs says im too clutsy ,lol.cant wait to see your next post!enjoy your week sweetie!big hugs michelle
Looks like you all had fun. That's a good thing!
Will stay tuned for your next adventure.
Blessings,
Renee
Looks like you had a blast! I miss riding. We sold our motorcycle(not a Harley) when I got pregnant with our first child and haven't rode since. I actually thought about getting my motorcycle license. Sorry about my deleted post. I actually made a few mistakes in my spelling.....lol
Prim Blessings,
Patti
LOVE the motorcycle!!! Ive been a passenger on them but never a driver. LOL. I even have the exhaust burn to prove it. I WILL get to North Shore Primitives yet. It is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours from me. But heck Mohican is only about 45-60 min from where I live. We like going canoeing there in the summer.
Sounds like you had a great week end..all of you :) Weather has been cold and raining here so I am staying in and sewing..have also been busy printing (painting) fabric (OOAK) It is now a new addittion for me. Hop on over to my blog when you have time and check out my OOAK fabric :)
