Thrifty Thursday

Hi Friends,

It was a fun week at the good will last week! Lets take a peek!

Prim Santa face bucket/bag thing. $0.50 Can’t figure if he’s cute or scary. Could be both!

Faux Chocolate Bunny for spring. $1.00. I’m always thinking of other holidays.

Tiny jug. So Cute! $0.50

Christmas Ornament.  $0.50

Two little foam trees. Going to do these up for Christmas somehow. $0.50 each

A wood bowl. $1.00

Needs refinished but it’s really pretty.

Big ol’ Gobble Gobble!  $2.00 I have 2 of these now. One small and this one and they are the centerpiece in the dining room table!

Small 1/2 gallon crock. $2.00 Had Amish painted on it and I scraped it off.

Pretty Saltbox hand painted wall hanging. $1.50

This unattractive swag for $1.00…

Which I promptly tore apart and got 10 pumpkins out of!!!!

Find of the week… 2 pewter goblets! $1.00 each.Yay!

That’s all for this week.

Until next time…

Of course I LOVE the bunny!!!! Santa is a bit *evil* looking there, but prim indeed! Glad you found some stuff, I got a few warm outfits at our GW for when my grandson comes home, he doesn't have any warm clothes in HI, LOL!

Morning Carmen...I LOVE your Turkey - I really don't think I have seen these before but how lucky you will now have 3 for a table beautiful will that be.
Your other finds are wonderful. You are so lucky to work so close to GW to be able to get the deals.
Great idea to pull the swag apart - what you going to do with the Pumpkins...I'd rub them down with some Brown Paste Shoe polish and see what happens...I bet they will look just so Prim!

Thanks for visiting my blog kiddo...always nice to see you there.

Not sure about next weeks trip to Ohio...if I don't start feeling some better from this Sinus infection I won't be going anywhere.

Love your finds this week Carmen. This week my favorite are the pewter goblets. I have yet to find an pewter here. Searching for it makes for a fun shopping day though. Can't wait for today to be over and behind you. Good luck.

I found a little salt crock this week--about 1/2c. size--dark brown. had flowers painted on but luckily they were acrylic and washed right off. 79 cents!
Love your pewter goblets!
