Forget it Friday!

I get a giggle out of making up names that match the weekdays on my blog. My newest... these are things I passed up this week at the thrift store! Things I looked at and said… Forget it! LOL!

This is a HUGE painted piece of work. $100.00. Below it hangs and 8x11 frame so you can see how big it is. It is actually really neat. more country than prim but it’s nice. Would look really cool in a stairwell somewhere. I think it is $100.00.

95 piece set of Pfaltzgraff Village. $79.00 Really nice set at a really great price. But I don’t have anywhere to put all that! Neither does my bestie who collects this pattern like I collect Folk Art.

The wine glasses in the set. Really wish these were separate… Tammy NEEDS these.

Another piece of Pfaltzgraff. This is Yorktown It was a small vase. $2.00. Cute and I have some Yorktown but eh… forget it.

Cutest little pitcher ever. $2.50 I think. More than it’s worth in my thrifty world so I walked away.

Tiny little 1.5 inch bunny. $1.50!!! Are they mad????? YES!!! Forget that!

This is was a cute little crockish type thing too. Only about 1.5 to 2 inches tall. But it was $1.50. No thanks.

So theres my forget it's for the week!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Until next time...

WOW some of those prices seem high for a thrift store, I've noticed in our local ones prices have gone up too but some of the stuff just isn't worth what they want for it!

Ours is also getting very high priced. Really makes me stop and think more if I really need it. Maybe that is a good thing! I don't come home with so much stuff!

Seems high for a thrift store. I have that the little star jug that you posted in your last picture. I picked it up at Gordmans a couple years ago for $1.99.
Maybe next time you'll have better luck.

Catchy post today, love it and can relate so well. Glad to know others pass on items that would be nice to have but not today... I always say, "if it is there next time then it might have my name on it"....

this is a great post mademe laugh... I was there the other day. Seen that set of Village Pfaltzgraff.. My first thought was wish I had the bucks to buy this for Carmen and Tammy for Christmas split it even.. passed it up~One I'm broke and two Carmen would have bought it if she really wanted it..hehe guess she didn't. I love that little Pitcher with the butterfly but have passed it up for three weeks just cant justify the cost. Also seen the little Yorktown Vase but again cost ..yes out thrift stores are going sky high with there prices and they wonder why things don't sell... hummm... Economy is down people trying to make ends meet so go thrifting ..let me see I can buy that a Wall-mart for the same price brand new... it really affect me when I buy to redo and sell.. drives my cost up... and the world goes round...

That little star jug is cute, I probably would've grabbed it since those prices are cheap compared to my thrift store. Thank goodness I found the Salvation Army store. Awesome prices there, but I've resisted the last two weeks. Need to prim up what I have first before hubs throws it out! :) Love your creative posts. They give me my thrift store experience without having to leave the house!
