My new old Dry Sink

Well, I’ll be. I just figured out that I can reply to comments in my email. Shoot… how did I not know that? I’ve been blogging for forever. I’m kinda excited! I often wondered where I should post back to comments and I would jump back and forth from my blog to yours. Now I can just reply in email! Coolness!!!! :)

I got a bunch more Christmas presents wrapped last night. Is it Friday yet? Because I’m tired of wrapping already. I’m ready to decorate instead!!!!

I picked this pretty little dry sink up at the Goodwill for $15.00. It’s Ethan Allen and its in perfect condition except for one thing… the drawer was missing. O.O Uh-Oh!

What to do… what to do.

No problem!

Put a quilt in it!

It’s in the bed room and I have all the extra blankets in it. Perfect storage piece. And you can’t beat the price.

Until next time…

CUTE!!! I got a drysink from a neighbor several years ago, they were throwing it out because one of the doors was broken. Some wood glue fixed it and it was as good as new. I am planning on redoing it, I just haven't decided on how yet, but this gets the wheels turning!! Great idea, looks great~!

What a sweet deal you got there Carmen. It looks beautiful with your quilt in it. I wish I could find a deal like that at our Goodwill. Most of the time I just find expensive junk!
Enjoy your day,

Wow! That quilt looks better than a drawer anyhow. Absolutely incredible that an Ethan Allen piece ends up in a thrift store . . . GREAT find!

This was a great idea. Most would have passed on this piece. You really gained a beautiful piece. I like the quilt better than a drawer. I see so many wonderful finds from goodwills on many blogs. I wish people around here gave such great pieces to our goodwill. I bought a 4 poster Ethan Allen bed on ebay & would love to find other pieces to put with it. I guess I need to travel to goodwill stores away from my area. Blessings. I like your bowl & pitchure set. Looks great. So happy for you. Blessings!
