Hi Friends...
Found another old post back in the drafts!
Remember last year when I bought this ever so ugly gold bell wreath and said I had plans for it... well here ya go.
Tracy... helping. :)
EW! Shiney. No No NO!!!!
So I had Mr. Primcat string them all up and paint them black for me!
As you can see we had LOTS of GW bells to do. Not just that big wreath. I had been picking them up here and there for a long time!
Now I have a whole tote of black bells for less than $5.00!
Here are the little ones he did!
Obviously we did this on a huge scale by stringing them across a whole room because we had so many but you can do this smaller scale in a box of any size. Just string them from side to side.

Prim Perfect!!
Until next time...

Great way to paint them...guess I had never thought to string them...I use a slower more tedious method...duhhhh...yours makes lots of sense. Great price for all those too.

What a great idea! I don't think I would have ever thought of doing that.
Love the "decor" of your room, the bells are a great touch! LOL!

Great idea! I have a bell wreath and I thought of painting the bells bronze,
just haven't gotten around to it. Good way to paint them!

That looks like a lot of work to string all those tiny bells up like that. I bet your cats would have had fun with that!! They are sooooo much prettier black. -Steph-
That is so neat...but....I bet Shane was... um...shaking his head! You know what I am getting at. LOL He is such a sweet guy!
You can do a lot with those with your crafty ideas.
Hugs Carmen!

Hi Carmen!! The bells look great in black--no more ewwwww!! Tracy is a sweetie! I meant to tell you I went into that antique shop on Sandusky--GORGEOUS stuff--samplers, crocks and a fab pie safe--but woo hoo!! THE PRICES!! Still, really nice to see the good stuff. When are you going to send that breadboard to me?!? ;)--Jan
