Hi Friends,
Happy beautiful Wednesday to you. It's supposed to be an amazing 67 degrees here today! Oh how I wish I could enjoy it instead of being stuck behind this desk. It's so depressing sometimes. Today Mr. Primcat and I should be jumping on the bike and heading somewhere... but alas we are trapped by real life instead. Oh well... I hope someone is out there enjoying the day for me.

This weeks weight: 137
Down 13 pounds in 8 weeks! Yay!!!
I'm doing really well and very happy about it!

I also tried Zumba on Monday. Have you ever done it? Oh my gosh it was so much fun!!! And the best workout I have ever had! I sweated my behind off!!! I was drenched! And hour of dancing felt great! I was sore yesterday... but it was a good sore. I think I'm better today and ready to tackle it again tonight. Bring on the dance!
They are holding it 5 days a week now for free if you are a member. No extra charge. Mondays and Wednesdays are at 5:30 so I am going to start going on those days and treadmilling on others. If it's nice I'll walk outside on the walking tracks since the weather is getting nicer and daylight savings time changes this weekend. It will be nice to have some daylight hours after work again. When you get to work and it's dark and then leave work and it's dark it's so very depressing. I am ready to have some sunshine back in my life again that I actually get to enjoy!
Nothing much new on the home front. I have not gotten the house decorated yet for spring. I have been so tired after getting home from the gym every night. Maybe this weekend.

Good for you Carmen - I haven't faired so well...I gave up desserts and have been really watching what I eat, but I have also been stuck in my studio for most of the last two weeks filling orders and it has been freezing out and that means no real exercise to speak of. I'm still hovering at the same place...sigh...I am so happy for you though and you inspire me!

You're doing great on the weight loss Carmen! Zumba is a great workout.I've only done it once because I felt like a goober-so uncoordinated and mix up left and right. Have a great class this evening!

Congrats on the weight lost...13 lbs!! Way to go!!
My oldest does Zumba and she loves it. Doctor said it is a no-no for me with my bad back and knees...so sticking with the treadmill.
Thought about walking outside...even though the doctor doesn't like me to. He said our roads are too hilly for my bad knees. So not sure if I should...plus it is really windy out there today.
I've lost a total of 8.5 lbs so far.

good for you on your weight loss..you are smokin;) my nurse loves the Zumba classes..and it sounds like you do too..just another way to shake it up and have fun doing it..then it doesn't feel like work or exercise;) have a great day..we are getting a pretty day as well..tomorrow is going to be even better then fri-sunday..rain..knew it wouldn't last.;)
Congrats on the weight loss, you are doing great! I would like to try Zumba myself but afraid these old bones couldn't take it.
I did get out to day and enjoyed that warm sunshine. Wind was bad but it was still fun out thrifing with a freind!

I remember going nuts when I had to work inside on beautiful days and saw others out walking, running or biking. You keep your sanity and keep it up. You'll work t out ;o)

Looks like you are on your way to your goal on the weight loss. It is sometimes a slow process, but you'll get there. I know alot of gals who do the Zumba thing and they say it is fun. Dancing is a fun way to lose weight.

Congrats on the weight loss. Zumba is lots of fun. I actually joined a gym to be able to take classes. I also take body pump and sh'bam which is a dance based aerobics. Love them all. I try to get lots of cardio in too while at the gym...the treadmill and I are best friends right now. Keep up the great work and I say bring on the daylight savings time and warmer weather.
