Getting Crafty with Wax and a Thank you to Martha at Apple Tree Cottage!

Happy Monday my Prim friends!

I hope you are all taking the time change well. I did not. I had no problem gong to sleep "early" last night but man... I can not wake up today. Yikes! I am seriously head bobbing sitting here at my desk. No fun. I am however very happy that from this point on til next winter ... I will be getting sunshine after work. I love it! Yay!

My weekend was busy. Friday night I tinkered around the house tweaking here and there. Putting out bunnies, birds and nests.

A Peek…

I am still not done... but I'm getting there. Then I put my butt to bed at 10:30 because....

Saturday morning I got my butt out of bed and went to Zumba at 9:30am. This is huge for me. I do not do mornings. So I was very proud of myself. :) And I of course had a blast!

After Zumba I was energized to the max so I dropped Jamie's wedding gown off at the dry cleaners for her, and then I went grocery shopping.

On a Saturday morning! Shut up!!! Nope I really did! :)

I got home around 1 jumped in the shower and then Jamie came over after work so we could be crafty!

Someone special placed an order for Pantry cakes. Uh yeah... someone wants to buy my stuff. Scary right? Just joking! I said NEVAH!!!! This is swapping land… and so it goes. :)

So Jamie and I mixed up some yummy drinks and went to town melting wax and making cakes and other cute little smelly good stuff.

Then our Zumba DVD set arrived from Mr. FedEx and we had to try it right away!

Oh Hella yes!!!!! So much fun!!!!! A party in a box! Yay!

So we would go pour some wax... then while it hardened we danced out booties off and sipped our cocktails. Fun and productive day!

So here are two cute little bowls I put together with our waxy fun. And they smell soooooo good!!!!

The top one I gave to my step mom... and the bottom one is for Jamie.

I did not make myself one so I will be making more of these soon so if any one wants to order some for swap for some let me know. :) They will be made to order. And if I must I will sell them. ;o)

Sunday was lazy. I was SORE from way to much Zumba. Way to much. lol! But a good sore. So I did not do much Sunday at all. Tinkered and what not then dinner with Dad and Laura. Gave her some new treasures including her new bowl of wax fun which she loved. Then home to rest some more. My legs are still sore but... Zumba at 5:30 tonight!!!! So get your dancing shoes on! :)

People are really starting just this week to notice my weight loss and I really appreciate that. Makes me feel good when someone notices. Also proves that everything I am doing... all the hard work... is actually paying off! Yay!

Ok... on to another subject.

Last week I received a beautiful package from a giveaway I had won at

Martha at Apple Tree Cottage had painted and donated this beautiful kitchen slicer to the PAFA  Spring Giveaway and I was the lucky winner of this beauty!

I hate the time change too. Always takes us a few days to adjust. My kids like the daylight later though as they can be outside longer.

Love those wax creations. They are definitely sell-worthy. I, too, didn't want to get up this morning. Love your give-away win too!

For some reason the time change hasn't altered me yet...maybe it has but hasn't caught up to me ... lol Not sure on that one.

Love your winnings - the painting is beautiful on it.

I commend you for sticking to your ww plan - it's fun and easy isn't it. Nothing better than being told you lost weight - makes the effort even more stronger to continue.

Oh my...adorable wax creations - I can smell them from here.
