Hello there prim friends! I can’t believe I’ve been away for 3 weeks! WOW! Crazy! It’s been super busy at Primcats house. The minute we saw that sun again it was OUTSIDE without a second to spare! There was SOOOOOOO much to do.
We did a major redo on the landscaping this year in the last few weeks. Rebuilding 11 year old beds, re-edging those beds, separating 11 year old perennials, replanting the hundreds of plants that came out of that, getting compost on the veggie beds, planting the veggie beds and the list goes on and on. We have worked our butts off! Felt great!!! I am so glad we have had the sun at least part of the time. After 2 months of straight rain we needed it!
I don’t have any pictures of the gardens today but I will get out there and get some taken. We are really proud to have completed so much in so little time. :)
The only fun news I have to share is that I got to meet Dierks Bentley last Sunday. Somewhere on someone's camera is our picture together but I don’t have it yet. I do have this though! Here is video proof I was there.
That’s me in the long sleeve white shirt and white bandana over his left shoulder on the right of the screen. :) Mr. Primcat is over my shoulder too. Pretty cool right.
I don’t know when but we will also be on CMT when they air a show about this. :)
He did his annual “Miles and Music for Kids” event in Columbus this year and we attended. There were nearly a thousand bikes there! They shut down all the roads for a 30 some mile police escorted ride. The line of bikes was 8 miles long! It was HUGE! Biggest ride we’ve been on.
Here is Dierks with the CMT guy.
You lookin at me? :)
Of course he was!
He was so friendly meeting and greeting EVERYONE!
He even gave a nice little speech to the riders!
Yep… somewhere about 850 bikes up there is Dierks!
And there’s the 250 behind us!
After the ride there was a concert with Dierks, Uncle Cracker, Joe Nichols, Miss Willie Brown, and Josh Thompson. It was a really fun day!
That’s all for now friends! Hope to find some times to catch up on your blogs soon!
Until next time…
