Tracy’s new outfit ~ Pierre’s new Hair do

Hi Friends,

While out and about on vacation I found this adorable little harness for Tracy. Since she is about to be a super cool camper kitty I thought she needed new attire.

Isn’t it cute!

She loves it!

Now before you get all crazy on me about why I am putting clothes on a cat… know that Tracy is fine with it. She wears clothes all the time.

In 2010 Tracy was bitten by a Brown recluse Spider. It took months for her to recuperate from that wound that killed a 6 inch round patch of skin on her side within 24 hours. It was a terribly damaging bite that almost took her life. She had to start wearing clothes then. And she has been wearing them ever since.

She suffered nerve damage to the area where the bite was and is often struck with the need to lick/bite herself in that area repeatedly to make the pain from the nerve damage stop. The only way to stop her from hurting herself is to dress her up! And dress her up we do. She had a whole wardrobe of pretty dresses and cool t-shirts!

And now… she has a biker vest and a…

HAT!

Ok, ok… the hat was taking it to far!!!

But darn it… it’s so cute! I wish she would wear it!

Pierre’ also got a new do this week.

We took her in for a Summer Hair-did.

Check out that long hot mane! Time for a trim!

All Done! Pretty and refusing to leave my lap while I drive.

Thanks Mom! I needed that!

Telling me all about it… “And mostly thanks for the belly shave! I’m way cooler now!”

Have a great weekend everyone!

Until next time…

Tracy is just too cool. Love the Harley vest. I still love cats even though I am allergic. Miss Kitty is the only one I have left and she is 13. She is so frail, but I still let her out of the garage and try to get her in before dark. A couple of nights I couldn't find her and stayed up until she appeared. I just couldn't go to bed knowing she was out in the night all by herself. Our animals are like family and just a little spoiled, even the chickens. Thanks for sharing the nice pics of your babies.

Cute - Do you have recluse spiders in Ohio?? Yuck! For some reason I thought they were further south. Poor kitty. Glad she has you and your hubby to love her.

Have a good trip!

Tracy looks so cute in her outfit and I'm sure that Pierre feels a lot cooler. Our Chloe wears doggie shirts all the time. She gets hot spots and we keep the shirts on her so that she can't chew on herself. Luckily, she loves to wear them.

Cindy

Those spiders terrify me! Okay, all spiders do. Poor pumpkin! But, she looks awesome- she should head out on the highway, looking for adventure, or whatever comes her way- BORN TO BE WILD (and super cute!)

Blessings!
