~ A Farmhouse Kitchen Makeover ~

Hi Friends,

Happy Friday to you! I hope everyone has something fun or relaxing planned this weekend.

Tonight I'm going to try to find it in me to work on that dining room table full of bees birds and bunnies I posted a few days back. Phew. Lots to keep me busy there!

Tomorrow I'm going for a dress fitting out of town for a friends wedding. I'm kinda freaking out about it because I've already lost 12 pounds in 8 weeks (yep... down another today! woohoo!) and you can bet by her September wedding I'm gonna be a skinny lady! LOL! So I will just have to have it altered to the max closer to then and pray it looks ok.

Sunday... I'm hoping to get back to decorating again and get it done. You know how that goes though! Move one thing and it snowballs into a decorating avalanche. You know it does! You have been there! LOL!

And speaking of decorating avalanches... that's exactly what happened in the kitchen!

This was the jelly cabinet area in the kitchen BEFORE

And then I got this shelf for $5.99 at the Goodwill and you know what happened from there!

I will let the pics speak for themselves.

I would LOVE to fill these with wooden utensils!!!!! Oh how I would!

So there you have it. My New farmhouse kitchen. I hope you like it. I'm not done. But I didn't want to keep you waiting any longer. We shall revisit when more changes are made and spring goodies are up!

Until next time...

Carmen,
It looks awesome! It's so nice that I can come and visit in your kitchen when I'm so allergic to cats. lol Gotta love the internet! Everything looks so nice and you have a great way of displaying your treasures.

Carmen--Loving the new look! I'm drooling over your butter churns. My mom put her perfect condition Daisy churn in a box and sold the whole box for a dollar at a yard sale years ago--I found out after she moved. Boo Hoo!! I cry everytime I see a Daisy churn now! Very cute prim collections. Especially love the teeny shooflys.

Love it! The black pie safe is gorgeous-I love the three scales all together! You'll be beautiful at the wedding too. Those alterations ladies can do wonders-I had a bridesmaid who accidentally ordered a 14 when she really needed an 8, and they fixed her right up just a week before the ceremony.Congrats on the weight loss!

Oh My...I love your new farmhouse kitchen!! Everything looks great!! When I come to visit...if one of those butter churns disappear, it wasn't me that took it. LOL... I've been wanting some of them for so long, but all the ones that I've found have been very costly.
