~ Thrifty Thursday ~

Hi Friends!

Nothing much going on but I did have some great news for the day.

I'm still waiting for my vision to clear up and after trying reading glasses  as suggested by my Dr. for a few days and finding out that wasn't helping me at all my Dr. decided my corneas must be swollen causing the distortion of my vision. He prescribed an ointment to put in my eye at night to draw out the swelling. It was nasty to put in. Like squeezing neosporin into my eye but I sucked it up and did it and then went to sleep. When I woke this morning I could not see much because it was still goopong up my eye. I went to work and at 9:47 exactly... my vision cleared to perfection after a set of drops. I was amazed. I had an amazingly clear 20 minutes this morning that was so very encouraging. I’m thrilled to have been given that at least. Though it was fleeting… I know my perfect vision is in there… it just needs to come out and  stay! Please pray for that! It's comming... it's just taking it's darn good time. And yes, it's gone again. In fact it got terrible worse after that. But I repeat... it's in there! Happy dance!!!!

I also want to apologize again for not being around much. It's just hard to work on the computer and read things when my vision is so weird. And I have not been answering emails either which all of you know isn't me at all. It just hurts to read. So just bear with me... I will be back to my normal nonstop blogger self sooner rather than later I hope! :)

In the mean time… picture city it is… Lets take a look at some fun treasures I’ve gotten at the goodwill lately!

A candle Warmer for $1.99.

Great finds & cheap, too! I have a long way to go to a GW, I don't find much there, anyway. I buy most of my old things at antique malls, which cost a lot more, of course. Don't know how Linda gets things at such good prices!
Hang in there, Carmen! Before long you will be able to see perfectly and you will be bright eyed and busy tailed!

It is so encouraging that you had clear vision for a little bit. It will make it a littler easier to hang in there. Great thrifty finds--our GW only has candy dishes and tin boxes--NEVER find anything!!

Things are looking up! You will be seeing perfectly in no time flat.

Good will stores in KY usually don't offer much. We keep our stuff until it's not wanted, or usable by ANYONE!!

There is light at the end of the tunnel....YEAH...I am still praying for a complete and FASTER recovery. It must be so frustrating and we know it's difficult to read the blogs and type it's quite understandable....but from what I see of your are sooooo faithful - always doing them...more than me that's for sure.

Wonderful goodies again - I'm thinking all the GOOD STUFF is in OHIO!!! Nothing even remotely good around here.
