~ Thrifty Thursday ~

Hi Friends!

Happy Thursday! I hope you are all doing well.

Yesterdays appointment was not as revealing or helpful as I wished it would be. But I didn’t really expect it to be either.

I asked about 30 questions and every question was answered with “Everyone heals differently.” or “You have to give it time.”  Frustrating… like my current vision… but like I said... I expected nothing more. So I’m just going to give it time and do the best I can to deal with what I have at any given moment. My vision will likely not clear up anytime soon and will change daily, even hourly, sometimes every 5 minutes, so I am just going to wait it out. I go back on the 27th and we will check my progress then. I will let you all know if anything good happens. :)

So… Lets take a look at some Thrifty Thursday treasures from the last month.

Wooden spoons… Love finding these.  Cheap!

 IMAG3300

A Large Candle warmer for $1.99.

IMAG3301

Two wonderful cookie cutters.

IMAG3302

A gallon crock for $1.99!

IMAG3305

And my Favorite! My first oil can! $2.99! So cute!

Until next time…

Your pewter is beautiful. Adding pieces to my collection when I find it cheap. Sweet little oil can. My Pap had a collection of over 300 oil cans. Thats what started me collection. You got really great treasures. Prayer lifted for perfect vision. Blessings!

Hi, Carmen:
Ah, this eye surgery, if only you could be one of the ones that "heals faster than others".
As always you've got fantastic items that you scouted. The oil can is a surprise. I'd love one of those.
Hugs,
Susan

I'd say "heal" but you're a cat person so that won't work. I feel for you and I hope that you are comfortable soon. Vision issues can affect so many other aspects, I know if I can't see correctly my stomach gets upset...probally shouldn't have suggested that, sorry.

Get better soon,
Kendra

Carmen: Always love your posts and bargains galore! What great finds! Just hang in there a little longer and give it time; eyes can take their sweet time until you can see clearly again.
Keep busy and share with us.

Hi Carmen...well I hope by the time you read this your eyes are feeling better...I wish you didn't have to go through this...but it sounds like in the end it will be just the right thing!!!!

Wow...I wish I could find a crock like that for $1.99! You lucky girl!

So sorry about the trouble you're having with your vision, Carmen. That's been my one big fear my whole life...losing my vision...and now that I'm almost 50 I'm having a tougher and tougher time. Hope yours gets better quickly!

Hugs,
Pam
