Some Christmas Treasures…

Hi Friends…

Happy Thursday. No Thrifty Thursday today… Maybe next week! I have gotten some great treasures lately but I just haven’t taken pics. I will try to get to it!

Recovery is going well. I am doing fine. I still can’t wear jeans… but who’s complaining about that? LOL! Stretchy pants for me all the way, all day!

Pretty quiet around the house right now. And I’m glad for that. I’m still working on taking down Christmas. It’s going a little slow this year. But I don’t mind. I still have all the tree’s up. They make Mr. Primcat and me smile. I know he does not want me to take them down either. And I love that about him. They will stay until I feel like taking them down.

Today I wanted to share some of my wonderful Christmas treasures that were given to me this year. I did not mean for these posts to come so far into January… but as you all know the end of the year just didn’t end so well for me.

All of these treasures came from my Dad and step mom. They really spoiled me this year. My step mom took me to our favorite store, The Old Farmstead, so I could show her everything I love… and then she Christmas shopped for me. She says I am just to hard to buy for because my home is filled so she wanted to make sure I got things I would use. Well who am I to say no to that!

So here are the treasures she and Dad picked out for me.

A whole Honey and me Gingie family! ♥♥♥ You know I am loving these and I can’t wait to give them their own special display next year!

I am addicted to Honey and Me snowmen… so whenever I get one it’s special. He is currently adorning the pie safe in the kitchen for the winter.

I love all your Christmas goodies. you really got spoiled, everything you wished for. I love your kitty pictures. Cats are great company, I sure do miss mine. I only have one that stays out in the garage since I found out I am highly allergic. I used to have three at the other place that stayed in the house. When we moved, one cat got out of the garage and I never did find him and the older cat passed away and so that just leaves Miss Kitty who is about 12. I let her out during the day and put her in at night. I don't think I will get any after she passes on. Too many dogs and coyotes around to leave them alone outside.
Enjoy them while you have them, they are like family.
Happy decorating with all your goodies.

Carmen,
Great goodies you got!! The Olde Farmstead is one of my favorite stores too...we have one about 20 minutes from here.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better. It has not been the greatest beginning of the year for me...had to have some test done and it has been very stressful.
I just love your kitties...they are so cute!!
hugs,
Cindy

Hi, Carmen - they did spoil you shamelessly! The tin lantern and the big round snowman are my favorites.
It's good that you are feeling better every day. I don't wear jeans unless I'm going somewhere!
Take care and get plenty of rest when you can. (How do you get the cats to pose, I can't get mine to stay still)
Hugs,

Sweet primitive must haves! You made out gal :-) I can tell, even the primcats think so. I really like the solar canning jar. I've never seen one of those before.
I think you should take it easy for a bit too and sit back, relax and enjoy your beautiful home. That's coming from an old gal who's been in her 30's and remembers how hard it was to sit still for very long. No problem doing it now in my 50's though... lol! Take care sweetie :o) Hugs~Carol

Glad to hear that you are getting better Carmen! Lovin all of your goodies...but I am most partial to all woodenware. I have that same paddle, and was told it was used for making pasta...not sure if that is 100% correct though...if you find out, please let me know. Take care, Janice
