Thrifty Thursday

Thrifty Thursday is here again. I forgot it was here already so I'll be posting about the stuff I mentioned yesterday tomorrow. So sorry for the delay... but I promise it's worth the wait! :)

Not to much going on at the Goodwills as of late. This is THREE WEEKS worth of going everyday. Donations are WAY down. Nothing much is new on the shelves and nothing is selling because they are pricing things so high. "The Stager" they hired is still at it. That woman is such an uppity up. Wish they never would have hired her. So frustrating!

Until this week I was going everyday but with my new obsession of couponing I barely went this week. It's just not worth the drive to see the same over priced things over and over. I can spend my lunch hours better preparing my coupons for my shopping trips and saving there instead. :)

So here it is...  3 weeks worth.
As you can see... not much for the Queen of Thrift.

Love the lil' primcat on wheels:) our thrift stores are the same way, nothing much to choose from and way overpriced, I think you do better at yard sales anymore. Have a great day!!!!

You would think the Goodwill in my area is a major department store. Not sure how much they really sell but the shelves are never that full no matter when I go in and what is there is just overpriced and really not all that nice.

I love your swan. Its my favorite.

Have a great day Carmen.
Hugs,
AMY

Love that swan! My husband told me I have too much "stuff" all over, so I may have to live vicariously through you now! LOL! Keep on thrifting! ~*~Lisa

Love that swan and your new primcat! I haven't found much lately either , guess maybe everyone too poor to buy new things and donate their old ones or gas to high to drive over and drop stuff off! lol Hope you have a great week and happy couponing!

I think you did great with your treasure hunting. Better than I do when I go....which isn't often. We don't have them near us so it's a days outing to get to them.

As always, great finds! I like the idea of using the lazy susan for crock covers.

It's kinda' funny that GW feels it necessary to hire a stager. Ours is more flea market style which seems to work fine. I'm lookin' for a bargain not a pretty display.

Wow, a stager? That is interesting, it's SUPPOSED to be a thrift store! LOL!
They do seem to be upping their prices, I will have to see what this new one they have started building near our house will be all about.
I do enjoy going, but I have become more selective and only go on the sale days as much as I can.
I like all your finds though, I think the swan looks great!
