Wow Carmen you made out like a bandit for sure, but my favorite piece is the birdie. I must go shopping with you sometime...but we would probably be rolling on the floor holding on for dear life to get something that we both wanted....LOL

I think you did great Carmen! I agree, they seem to be jacking prices up, that's why I now only go on sale days at my places! I love them all, but my favs are the quilted runner and the basket!
The babies have to be cozy! LOL!
Have a great week!

CArmen,

Great finds. I stopped at my local Goodwill the other day and walked out in disgust. Their prices were ridiculous! $3.00 for a wood bowl, that was part of a 6 piece set, so that would be $18 for the set. Probably could have bought it brand new for less than that! I will wait for the flea markets...it's warming up here and they should start real soon.

Back to your goodies...love the basket and the quilted runner.

Great finds Carmen, my favorite is the basket. We don't have "Goodwill" stores here in the UK, am thinking our closest to them will be what we call "Charity Shops", where people donate unwanted items and the proceeds from the sales go to various charities. The prices in some of these shops can be very expensive and there are nowhere near such lovely items as you find.

terrific basket and I love the checked dinner napkins. prices are going crazy. I can remember when they would bundle these 4 napkins together and sell the bundle for 88 cents. and that beautiful runner would have been 2.38. it's tough to get a good deal anymore......
