Christmas in the Kitchen…

Hi there friends!

It was a busy weekend at Primcats house… but now it’s back to the grind. Monday morning and it’s back to the ol’ 8 to 5. Yes, I have one of “those” jobs. Boring as all get out but it pays the bills. But the one bonus is that I am free to use the internet as I please… and I admit most of my free time is spent here in blog land. :) It’s my relief of the day. My job is monotonous and at times mind numbing and if you don’t take a break from the numbers you get burnt out quickly. A 15 minute break to clear your mind reading a blog is the perfect pick me up when the ol’ head gets fried from all the data.

So today as promised we visit the Christmas kitchen… and I hope that if you are in a job like mine… the following pictures clear your head and take you to a more welcoming place. :) I’m sure right now I’m reading your blog, lost in the pretty pictures and grateful for the distraction from my usual day.

The Piesafe area.

Love that kitty cat tree! Biggest one I'e ever seen. :) I have an interesting job but it does get monotonous as well. So thankful for all of my jobs (I work a bunch of part-time jobs; I'm a nightowl, no 9-5 for me). Hope you are staying warm. We feel like we are living in a snowglobe. :)

I wonder do you all think she likes her Pie safe?? hehe!! I'll tell you a little secret I got to help with all the Tree decorating..one of the treasures of my year is when we get together to decorate the PrimCats house every year..One of those warm Fuzzy mother daughter moments each year!! Best part is she keeps buying more trees. Now its 4 times the fun.
If ya look under the Kitchen tree you will see an Old Enamelware Pan..I always give her a gift on Tree Decorating day and this year it was this old pan. Nothing special but it actually has the orginal label, it reads:
"Carmen's Kitchen". How cool is that?
I stumbled across it at the Thrift store. Had to get it for her Kitchen...

I can totally see why you love your pie safe, it is a thing of beauty!! I love your table too and the little bench on one side.

I have one of those boring jobs too. I'm a Payroll Specialist for an insurance company. Unfortunately, my company doesn't let us surf the web. I wish they did!!
